Responsibilities
*Strong Functional Expertise in Oracle Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, and Fixed Assets.
*Demonstrated several implementations of Oracle Financials modules as either a Development or Design leader of the Financial Modules
*Formulate Oracle solutions in the area of Oracle Financials as well as Financial Account Reconcilation to support & fullfill GE Energy P&L business requirements.
*Partner with business units in project implementations as Oracle Financials expert through various tollgates.
*Leverage existing solutions and global designs to drive standardization & simplification to reduce implementation timelines & costs; Drive use of standard Oracle functionality to minimize use of customizations.
*Conduct Fit Gap Analysis
*Create Functional Design Documents
*Configure the Oracle Modules in areas of expertise
*Support Testing during SIT and UAT
*Create training materials for modules in areas of expertise.
Qualifications
*BS/BA in Computer Science or Finance/Accounting degree
*Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle ERPs (Financials) with full life cycle implementation experience.
*Oracle Financial Applications knowledge with implementation experience
*Solid technical understanding of Oracle Financials
*Strong knowledge of Accounting
*Customer and process focused
*Strong communication, interpersonal, organization and planning skills
*Fluent in English (written and verbal)Desired
*Advanced degree or certification
*Previous experience in Finance/Accounting role
*Experience using Six Sigma tools and techniques
*Knowledge of GE Energy environment and Corporate Shared Services
*Good communication and presentation skills; fluent English speaking and writing is mandatory
*Ability to formulate clear and concise objectives and plans
*Capacity to act as strong team player; ability to work on a virtual team without direct supervision
*Strong background in Microsoft Tools
