Accounting Manager
Based: Mexico City
The Caompany:
Chronos Consulting's Client is a multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, sells, and supports personal computers and other computer-related products and they are currently seeking for an Accounting Manager to form part of their organization.
The role:
You will be responsible for:
Assisting with financial quarterly reviews & year end audits with external audit staff as well as reporting to the tax authorities: VAT, tax, custom etc.
Analyzing and evaluating financial and/or pricing plans as they relate to overall objectives for a department.
Provides strategic financial management and leadership to assigned department.
Acts as business partner within the organization and has significant fiscal responsibility.
Recommends short and long-term plans and strategies within the assigned client group.
Assists employees in the selection and development of appropriate methods and tools.
Determines appropriate financial structure to support the business needs.
Directs the efforts of subordinate supervisors and individual contributors.
Accountable for the compliance to government relations and internal controls for team.
Analyzes/evaluates financial plans. Manages external relationships.
Interact with the sales organization to drive pricing strategies and programs, interact with external customers on contract negotiation.
Ensures corporate compliance to government regulations and internal controls.
Provides managerial leadership, coaching/feedback and development for direct reports and business partners.
The Person:
A Certified Public Accountant.
Minumum 7 years experience on Finance.
Full understanding of the financial implications of USGAAP and MEXGAAP.
Experience in Retail.
Applies advanced functional skills/ competencies and may adapt procedures, techniques and tools under general supervision.
Seeks to develop and demonstrate leadership skills through practice and actions.
