Job Description:  
A manager that oversees and ensures the accurate and efficient financial performance and reporting for Mexico IGT locations.  Manages and oversees training of employees who perform similar or related tasks; has both direct reports and indirect reports.  Responsibilities can be to specific client group(s), products or business processes

 
Responsibilities:

o Manages and oversees all analyzing, validation and reporting of financial performance in Mexico, including:

- Performance against forecast and variance reporting
- Margin analysis
- Customer and product profitability
- Project management
- Profit and loss margin forecasts
- Competitive positioning analyses / pricing strategy analysis

o Partners with senior management in the development of plans related to the annual business plan including but not limited to annual sales plans, annual product development plans, engineering project planning and commission plans.

o Review and provide complex analysis and recommends improvements

o Manages complex special projects

o Manages and ensures all assigned subordinates are trained and knowledgeable on the systems and processes they are required to use in the execution of their job responsibility including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, SAP R3, BW, BO, Business Intelligence and Project Management Software

o Ability to play a key role in the establishment of both annual business and performance plans as well was long range planning and forecasting out to a five year period.  Ability to present and defend business plans and long range forecasts and models to senior executives

o Translates near-term operating goals into processes, projects and assignments for the finance department managed

o Participates in establishing resource requirements, resource levels, schedules and performance standards for the finance entity managed

o Qualifications:

o Typically has 10 to 15 years of experience in accounting, auditing or financial analysis
o Typically has 5 to 7 years supervisory or management experience
o Bachelor’s degree required or MBA
o CPA or special skill related to position
o Has advanced in-depth knowledge of / skills in the content areas of:
 
- General accounting principles and procedures
- Financial analysis and forecasting techniques
- Analysis and interpretation of technical accounting journals, compliance
regulations and legal documents
- Compiling and presenting financial reports
- Spreadsheets and multiple database applications
- Audit rules and regulations
